      Integra build (de-rice)

ok so as some of you may know i moved from hamilton On, Canada to Rochester NY for school. Any ways my class mate from Cali is also new to the city, and was lookinging for a car for around 1000$ to last him 1 year because he has old camry in cali thats worth less then the price to ship in from cali to NY. Me being a car nut i inved him out last sunday night to the local tuner meet/ street racing hangout. after looking at dif cars he said he would love to get in to the tuner scene. so what i did was find him a riced out 94 acura integra RS with a 5 speed and b18b1 engine with 233 000 miles for 1300$. so now we are gona put 700$ in to it and drive the **** out of it.

he can't drive stick, knows nothing about cars, and is not mechanicly skilled. so i will be doing most of the work. but here is the catch when he leaves for cali next year im geting his car for around 500$ depanding how much he invests in to it and in what condition it is when time comes. the car has an ugly front body kit, **** paint job with no clear coat, white graphics and stupied stickers, painted interiour pieces in white, no cd player, short ram intake, header, and full brand new aftermarket exhaust.

so i will be de-ricing this baby, any sugestions

PS i still have my aveo and will keep it

you paid $1300 dollars for that?!?

hit up a junk yard for the stock body pieces, clean the crap out of the interior, and go through all the other work the previous owner did. check the brakes etc..

then buy a used suspension, wheels and tires off ebay, or craigslist.

then spend the rest fixing all that crappy bodywork and go get a cheap maaco paint job to seal the work until you can get it redone when you own it.

      1300 bad or good?

the tires are brand new and we will be gutting the interiour and puting in 2 racing seats.

i hate fixing thing after ricers did em

first thing we did was rip off all the stikers and graphics, and gutted the inside

the struts that hold up the hatch are dead

now for the rust, its real bad, and was repaired with ducktape and bondo (i don't know how bad it is untill i rip all that crap out)

i don't think i can answer that positively, if there are alot, and i mean a lot of mechanical +++s then maybe that car is worth 1300.. but with that rust... was it 1300 canadian?

i see an exhaust and maybe a header... anything else?

sounds like my kind of project... Its fun undoing someone elses work, watch out for random wires and nice jimmy rigged jobs. I love finding those!!!
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

That thing is f-ing hideous, but it has potential. It needs so much body work it's not even funny...for what you paid for it and how much your planning on putting into it I would just knock out all the rust and primer the area to keep it away and bondo it best you can. and Don't use duct tape lol. It's already looking better.

I would never buy a JDM fag car, and not one where a kid beat on it anyways. You could have found a nice low milage lanos for the same price of less. Guess its good cheap transportation though, just put a paper bag on your head. Does it fart loud?
