Work at a Casino and over the last year I have returned to school as a full time student.

When do i get on? About your lunch time, or in the early morning.

What do people think of my car? First question is they try to figure out what it is (debadged).
Next they want to know what I am doing with such a small car, considering I am over 6 ft and 300 lbs.

I work for a help desk that supports the post office computer systems. People I work with don't see my car as I walk to work. Most people that do ask anything generally assume that it handles good and gets good mileage. My response is usually "yeah it's ok" or "actually it doesn't handle that great".

Since getting decent tires and a scan gauge, handling and mileage has improved though.

Going to pick up my UltraRacing rear strut bar at the post office today actually. Been a long wait, anxious to see how it turns out.

I work in the manufacturing industry in a company that fabricates kitchen cabinet doors and drawers.

I operate a computer controlled press that puts any of our 93 colours on the doors.

I said on 'network that I just sit on my ass for 8 hours and go home but I guess I will expand.

I am contract security (worst kind of security) for a petroleum and chemical processing plant called Kinder Morgan on the southwest side of Chicago. Even tho people dont like to take security seriously, nobody really grasps how important our position is at this plant. In a short story, if something were to happen to the plant we "guard", a large portion of the south side of Chicago, from the plant to Midway Airport would be in alot of trouble. Im not going to go into specifics. I cant. The worst thing about working here is not only does nobody take us seriously and they pretty much **** on us, we are the hardest working, most underpaid guards in the entire security company. What make things worse, is there are ome sites in our company where guards get paid more than the Lieutenants who come around and inspect our posts. Its funny to watch how they (the Lts.) deal with that when they start with the company. First they start off as complete hard asses ready to write you up for breathing funny, then after a month or two and having seen almost all the sites our company has, they start to just not care. Especially when the guards who are getting paid more than them start copping them attitude. They are then the one who end up getting wrote up the most and eventually fired. Then when the Lts. come to our site, they just sign our daily activity reports, then sit down and just start bs-in us about random ****, like we are at a bar or some ****. It is quite a fascinating process to watch. The turnover rate in security is something like 70%. Yet in over 2 years since I have been on this site, we have yet see any one of us get fired or even in trouble for anything because we really do take our job seriously, even tho nobody else does. Then when the client starts ****ting on us, we **** right back. They are running late for work and forget their work IDs, we hold them up at the gate and make sure we spell their name correctly, make sure their TWIC cards are not fake as well as their drivers licenses, inspect their vehcles for weapons, drugs, or other dangerous items, I might "have" to go to the bathroom "bad" while checking them in, etc... Ive only done that once with an employee who pissed me off almot everyday. We can also lock the gates so even if they have their employee ids, they can still not get into the plant until we feel like letting them in. Its very rare when we have to do things like this, and I havent had to do anything like that in a very long time, because they know to now be nice to us. The truck drivers on the other hand, well, they can be some ignorant ass mofos. The majority are pretty cool, hell some drivers bring us ****, newspapers, gatorades (nice in the summer), cookies, etc... I had one driver bring me playboys for a while. Had check them for stickiness before i could read them. But there is that 1% that like to push buttons on things other than their CBs. Thats the short story.
