Switching Dash Lights, and Front door reflectors

My Aveo has those odd green lights. I was wondering if those lights are easy to change and will it affect the lcd mile counter when i take apart the cluster? Also, regarding the front door reflectors, how easy is it to put a light in side the red cover? would I have to put a wire through the door to reach the interior button that makes the dome light turn on and though where?

      Thanks

The dash lights are easy to be changed, and you mile counter sholdn't be affected. Now, regarding the front door reflectors, shouldn't be that hard to make the wiring using the speakers as a guide where to fit the cables...

Running any kind of cable from the cabin through the door is no fun. I haven't had to do it on an aveo so I can't speak in that sense but do anything you can to piggyback power from a source already inside the door rather then running your own cables through the door.

Sorry for the long delay, i tried taking out the cluster. Managed to get the speedometer to work, but now the Tachometer does not work LOL. I was able to see that the lights are enclosed in a white box, that looks as if you might need a small screw driver,( like the ones to repair glasses) So i decided to just leave it in that weird green color. Do the bulbs have the little green cover on them that gives it that greenish color, or it is a green bulb?

I don't have a power supply in the door. I got the simple base model, which somehow has Side Air Bags when i don't think im supposed to.

Yes, it changes a ton. The second gen is SMD LEDs, and require de-soldering them and re-soldering new ones on

It is a green bulb, and as I said in the post above this they are SMD (surface-mount) LEDs, so they would need to be de-soldered
