with intricate designs like that that consider all possible outcomes, how can you fail.

well what do you think of the idea? forget the horrible doodles. the little motorcycle fans are made to mount to a radiator, should work on a small intercooler. with a hood scoop cut in and an electric cooling fan can i avoid heat soak? i like the top mount idea, ill probably only be making 130 hp if that, 20% power increase seems to be max with simple setup. ideas rabbit?

damn rabbit that comment made me laugh... zac, I would say if u properly mount ur scoop to direct air flow, the fans on the intercooler would not be needed. Don't over complicate things just yet. My uncle was military n he says he learned a simple acromym-KISS- Keep It Simple Stupid, I use to not to get caught in the excitement

well taken. the idea of.the fan was to keep airflow towards the engine rather than the intercooler absorbing hot engine air. was concerned aboit stop and go. but those.can be installed later if needed

I think you would need cfm calculations and temperature drop versus point of heat soak along with the cooler measurements and such to guess whether those fans would do anything. those cheap slim line fans dont move a lot of air, you would almost be better off with an air to water at that point. But I would probably just build a heat shield.

the cooler on top of the engine I would just follow what subaru uses. i dont think they have fans.

you got a way with words rabbit lol. i get what you are sayin. actually was thinking of pulling fans off of a cbr streetbike in a junkyard back home, it has two ,4-5in fans. if they are not needed great saves me cash and wiring. appreciate the input. lol i knew someone would say something, between my ****ty pictures and drawings. i did fail art fundamentals back in highschool

two posts back was #200 for me!
