      Angry So many things wrong!!

Just had to replace the idle control sensor in my 04 aveo. Now apparently there is a fuel injector misfire and transmission control module.
It shakes when stopped or parked, and it smells like exhaust!
Anyone know what I should pay for the module?

Don't buy the module just yet. Deal with the misfire first. Just yesterday we had an Excursion in the shop with an obvious misfire. The only codes present were transmission codes. We fixed the observed misfire and cleared the codes - transmission codes did not return. You may be in a similar situation - the trans control may not be receiving all the parameters it needs to operate due to the misfire and coding even though it is working fine.

what are the codes? a fuel injector doesn't "misfire" it either doesn't give gas, or it doesn't stop giving gas.

i'm not sure how you could not have a problem and do a Idle control sensor only to end up with these particular new problems. but based on the transmission codes, and a misfire I would say you need to start with wires and probably a coil pack. The burning smell could be oil in the spark plug valley, so you might want to do the valve cover gasket and plugs too.

I agree whole heartedly with Rabbit. You've probably got oil in the sparkplug well, causing a misfire, making the engine kick a little, causing the transmission to not rotate smoothly and making it throw a code as well.

Fix the misfire, all will be sparkplug well.
AHA HA HAAAA I'll see myself out...
