      Intermittent Headlight issue

I have a 2010 Aveo 5. 90K+ Miles. The other evening, driving to Target, the right headlight was out, there was an electrical burning smell and the High-beam light was illuminated. When I drove home, both lights worked fine. Then last night the left headlight went out and the burning smell returned. To night, both lights went out.... From what I've seen, there is a unit called the DLR module... which is being recalled on earlier models (But not 2010 that I can see) have anything to do with the headlights? or just running lights. Any ideas what might be causing this issue?
      Thanks,
      BB

Many members have had problems with the connectors at the headlights themselves getting hot/burning.

      Here's one for example:
