Paid $1000 for mine. Not a thing wrong with it. Step dad gave it to me essentially.

I've got recently my Chevrolet Aveo 2006 for $4000 no repairs required
Welcome, _laura!
$4000 with how many miles?
I bought an 04 with 69,000 miles on it in 2011. Paid $5200.00 for it. It had new timing belt, new serpentine belt, descent tires. Within three months, replaced thermostat housing after it split in two, had to have both rear wheel bearing replaced and the coil pack. That's about it, but it needs both front and rear brakes now. I guess not too bad for 4 years of driving.
I paid 2,400 for mine with 104,000 miles on it, all it needed was a clutch throw out bearing.
$1500 for my SVM sedan (was shopping for an orange hatch but they were all automatics), and it has 213k on the clock.

Bought mine at the end of 2012 for $3800. Only had around 60000 km on it. Was really well taken care of, nice younger guy with a family. 60k later and I've only lost the thermostat housing. The car has easily paid for itself already in gas savings over my other car. I love the little turd
