Exhaust popping sound

My 2008 Aveo, which has just turned over 10,000 miles, has developed a loud popping sound coming from the rear of the car which lasts a minute or so when the car is started. Someone else mentioned this happening and it turned out to be some exhaust valve, but come on, this early in the car's life? Looks like I'll be using my warranty coverage again...

The same thing was happening to mine brought it in to the dealership and they said it is an emissions control feature and is normal I also have an 08

The noise is not from the exhaust, it is from the EVAP system and it's normal.

my egr valve when just now at 55k, but I think its only really needed for emissions test.

I've removed my back seat so it's even louder, almost sounds like the gas tank is farting. Also, the exhaust can make a quieter and slower popping/creaking as it warms up too.

Mine made a little knocking sound from that area when new.

Its not really noticeable at 50k and I also have my back seat totally removed.

one way to help remedy this problem is to always make sure u got ur exhaust bearings packed full of grease

@ 24k, My Aveo doesn't fart anymore.. But hell I barely keep any gas in there..
