Can I haul 5 2X4's in my car?

Hey fellas, I'm building a tree stand this weekend. I've fit some weird stuff in my car. But I was wondering have any of you ever hauled an 8 foot 2X4 in your car before? Want to know if it'll fit before I go to the store...

You can do it with a hatchback. Otherwise they're going to be hanging out the side window.

Or you can try removing the rear seats (its only like 2 bolts holding them in) if you have a sedan. Bungee the trunk shut and put a red flag on the end of the 2x4s.

I hauled four 12 foot 1x3's in my 05 Hatchback lol I had to keep the trunk open but it wasn't a problem as long as i drove under 60 MPH. They stuck out like 4 feet out of my trunk. if you slide them in over the rear seats and lay back the passenger, put them up in the floorboard and you're good to go.
