Aveo 2.0 Turbo... Went to dragstrip tonight!

My best time was 14.925 at 8 psi of boost.

I used my winter tires as to keep my good ones in shape. Major traction issues coming off the line as soon as boost builds up in 1st it starts spinning out, 2nd gear spins all the way, traction comes on in 3rd.

I wish i'd have a better set of tires that grip instead of spin.

Nonetheless im happy with the times for what i had to work with

you might have had more traction if they were studded snow tires?

seems like a good time with the traction issues. third gear "should" occur pretty far down the track, if thats where you picked up traction, you have some power to be proud of..

Hopefully it was just the tires you were using. If not then you got some work ahead of you. It might be time to mess with rim and tire combinations find something that will grip. Don't be afraid to do some fender work to make something fit. I have seen another car that had to have the rims and tires actually stick out a little for tires wide enough to catch grip.

Great work, Glad it's up and running.

Your track time is not as important as the speed at which you crossed the line. Yes that was question lol!

Trap speed is just under 100 mph consistently.

If i go back soon enough i will try some runs with my 17 inch wheels, they have far more grip than the snow tires.

Taking off will be a bitch tho, have to be carefull not to make it jump cause that breaks things!
