FYI, if you take you car in to a dealer for the SRS light, they are required to repair it before releasing it I had 3 local dealers tell me that today.
I am looking for a local wrench with a reader that can read the soft codes. There is a You Tube video that mentions one by brand / model, and I did find it on Amazon for $200.00....

Same thing happened to me. Airbag light on. Took it to the dealer. They said my airbag module was bad lol. They wanted $600 for the new module. They can't pull the code from the OBD II scanner. You have to physically take the module out. We took it out and went to a local mechanic that had the right scanner to plug my airbag module in to. He reflashed it and we put it back in. It's been a year and haven't had a problem since.
