Transmission Electrical Problem with Codes

Hi,

I own an 2009 Aveo LT1 and bought it new. It now has 101k miles and yesterday was the 1st bit of trouble I've had.

The engine light came on and it gave me 5 codes:

U0001 Bus Comm
U0100 Lost Comm w/PCM
P0700 Tran Cntl Syst
U0073 Cntl Module Comm Bus Off
U0101 Lost Comm w/Trans Cntl Mod (TCM)

As I was driving home on the highway (after getting the codes from Oreilly) it acted very strange as well. As I accelerated through 60 mph, it abruptly lost power and all dash instruments (tach, temp, fuel, speed) went dead. Once all dash instruments went dead I was able to accelerate normally to 65 to 70 mph. Then the dash instruments came back on for a few seconds and then I would lose power again. As long as I kept it at about 55 mph and didn't accelerate the dash instruments would stay on and I didn't lose power.

The day before this all happened all was working perfectly. I don't see any loose connections anywhere. It looks like the PCM is under the hood on the drivers side, but I don't know where the TCM is. Any ideas would be very welcome.

Being in Arizona I wouldn't think you'd have these issues, but I would probably check the ground connections for corrosion. Flakey electrical connections can cause all sorts of weird issues.
