Technically this is maintenance, I think?

Well, i have an 06 Aveo sedan.
and one night it decided to break down, and don't yah know it was one of those awesome Canadian snow storms...
Unfortunately at the time, my battery would drop about a volt every 5 min (its been replaced since then) and it was cold out in a very remote location at night..

So it was time to start burning things... I went through some paper, sticks, some wood, and misc not super toxic burnables.... and then it came to ripping out the trunk divider (that flat compressed board between the spare and the usable trunk space).
Well I didn't really sit there and think of taking measurements for a replacement to be fitted.... which brings me to this post... It would be awesome if someone could measure out the dimensions of the compressed board for me

I would gladly measure mine for you, but I have a Hatchback and I seriously doubt that they are the exact same size.

Hope someone with a sedan answers this...

if your going to make one, you can do much better than the oem fit.

use cardboard as a template and trace it out to be about 1/16th of an inch from the edge of the spare tire well the whole way around.

then transfer it to the wood or whatever material you choose.
