      Our 2006 Aveo is the same way. We were told it was the rear axle and needs replaced at a cost of over 800.00. Our mechanic stated he sees this problems quite often and it should have triggered a recall by GM.

      Look on e-bay rear axle bushings.

      there is another thread about this now that using slightly "modified" mk4 vw bushings work also.

      Yes, I can't install that bushings. This size is to big, and I can't install. I tried use big c-clamp.

      I had the same problem on my 07 sedan ,Dealer solution is whole new axle for $625. ,I bought some control arm bushing for a volkswagon jetta 04 I believe, part# at NAPA store IJ0 501 541 C ,did right on the ground with a couple of jacks to support the car an the other to support the axle and a large C clamp and a couple of wooden blocks to accomadate the bushing ends and pressed them in after cutting out the old bushing
