Rear axle bushing problems

ok so the other day i was driving and noticed a rattling coming from the back of my car. i jacked it up and noticed that the bushing are shifted over and the rattling is coming from the metal rubbing on the sides with the swing arms. i was wondering if anyone has had any problems with this or what should i do.

Hi there,

Were you able to come up with a solution to your problem?
I am having a similar issue with mine as well.
My Axle is moved over and the bushings look shot.

I had that problem. Was told I would have to replace the entire trailing arm as the bushing are not sold separately. $1,200.00 at least. The price include labour to remove the rear axles and brake lines etc and replace them.
Went to a dealer and found a wrecked Wave. They removed the bushings from it and replaced mine. $300.

the shop I work at, labor for replacing the dead axle assembly would be about 2 hours. in the area where im at labor is $95 an hour, and 2 and a half years ago, my parts department got the rear dead axle assembly for me from greenleaf auto recycler for $200. Im a tech here so I did it myself and didnt pay labor.
