Issues starting car (no crank 1st try, starts instantly 2nd try)

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this issue. I have a 2009 Suzuki Swift+ (aka Chevy Aveo). For the last couple weeks, every time I turn the key to start the car, it doesn't turn over. I've observed that the dash lights and fan will come on while trying to start it. If I let go of the key (don't turn it back, just let go) then turn the key again to start, it will start instantly.

I can live with having to turn the key twice. I just want to know if eventually that won't work.

So far it looks like it might have been a bad starter relay. Crossing fingers.
