2009 Aveo LT Upstream O2 sensor Wiring?

I recent purchased a 2009 Aveo LT to fix up for a daily driver. I've got 4 codes for the upstream o2 sensor and live data showing 1275mv constant which according to the service manual indicates an open connection or short to voltage. Upon inspection, the plugs for the upstream o2 had been cut off and the wires from both the harness and the sensor connected with some random wires. When we saw that, we pulled that all out but now I'm trying to figure out which wires are supposed to be connected.

The harness has these colors:
Orange/Black - Tan - White - Grey
The O2 sensor has
White - Grey - Black - Purple

I want to get them reconnected properly so I can confirm whether the o2 sensor is bad of it was just the janky wiring

Cat converters on Aveos get choked if you have a misfire from a bad plug or bad coil. The cats get choked solid, strangling the engine. Then it's a $2000 double cat repair/replace. It's easier to bypass the cat's function by drilling out the upstream and downstream cats with a 3/4" drill, and the engine will run quite nicely forever after. The only negative is the CEL is lighted because of the drilled-out cats. Some owners try fiddling the wires to turn off the CEL, but it's not worth the extra time. Just live with the CEL being on. The Aveo doesn't know that the cats aren't working.
