      2004 Aveo Timing Belt Replacement

We had it replaced once around 80,000 miles after it broke and cost us $2400 to fix.

The car now has about 140,000 miles on it. Getting kind of concerned it may go again.

We already had the idler tensioner replaced a few years ago.

So wondering what the best brand belt to buy would be?

Well, first off the change interval for your timing belt is 60k miles, so you are due to change it.

As for the brand, many here have used and recommend Gates brand. I would as well. Also, you ideally change the belt and tensioner at the same time.

Welcome to the site as well.
