About LinkBacksI've got an '07 Aveo with 35k miles on it. Lately my check engine light has been coming on and then going off like a day later? Anyone has any idea what that might be? Any suggestions? Also, any maintenance I should do at 35k?

At 36k you are suppose to change the oil and oil filter, and rotate the tires. That is assuming that you have been doing the scheduled maintenance. Do you have an owner's manual? If not, I am 95% sure that you can get one online. I don't have a ready answer for your engine light staying on. I'll have to get back to you.

How about going to an auto parts store and asking them to check your car for error codes? Many stores do it for free. That might give you the answer as to why your engine light comes on occasionally.
Thanks! I have been doing all the scheduled maintenance oil change every 3k, got my filter replaced and tires rotated, etc. I'm going to go to an auto parts store this weekend and have them check it out. Thanks for the help
I found the following video interesting. One of the main problems with my 2005 Aveo LS is that I cannot find a repair manual. I hope that you have better luck.
