I personally fill up at a specific Kwik Star when I'm in my home town, It's very good gas and I get great mileage. If I'm not in my home town I look for Sinclair, or BP usually. Good gas at a reasonable price, not to cheap, not over priced truck stop crap.

I know different gas works in different cars, for example the Honda I used to drive hated BP (Amoco at one time) gas.
Kwik Star is Top Tier - here is the list I have from their website:

      76

      Petro-Canada

      Aloha Petroleum

      Phillips 66

      Chevron

      QuikTrip

      Chevron Canada

      Rebel Oil

      Conoco

      Road Ranger

      CountryMark

      Severson Oil

      Entec Stations

      Shell

      Esso

      Shell Canada

      Exxon

      Sunoco Canada

      Kwik Trip / Kwik Star

      Texaco

      MFA Oil Co.

      The Somerset Refinery, Inc.

      Mileage Stations

      Tri-Par Oil Co.

      Mobil

      Turkey Hill Minit Markets

      U.S. Oil

Right, I also stated that I use Sinclair gas. I don't see that on the list, and it has always ran fine in my vehicle with no significant loss in mileage, if any. I am aware kwik star is a top tier, and in fact I believe in the top ten. It's also reasonably priced and very close to my home. The last 2 are the biggest reason I go there. I just do not like discount gas, such as murphys or stations that don't advertise where they get their gas from.

I will think of a better signature later.

all of our gas stations (locally) are the same price per gallon regardless of what they pump.

I have noticed that too, but when you are traveling even within your own county or state, the prices can vary. I come from small towns and I'm used to considering what towns I will be in when I buy gas lol. The biggest thing I don't like as I think I have made clear is discount gas. It's bottom of the barrel dirty nasty crap that will burn through your engine fast and leave you without power and possibly a long motor life.

I always keep this list when I travel and I try to use Top Tier. I've never noticed mileage differences - I just use it for the additives (theoretically better for the motor).

Daug, I've noticed prices vary ALOT, even here in Canada. I drove from Winnipeg, MB to Rochester, MN once and the price in gas varied as much as 20%!

I just do not like discount gas, such as murphys or stations that don't advertise where they get their gas from.
Same here. I do buy gas from a co-op (buy shares in the company and get a return on profit), which refines their fuel in Canada. Its not Top Tier and I've read it isn't the best gas, but it hasn't reduced my gas mileage.
