      Is there a way that thing can be converted into a ramjet? With four doors you should be able to mount four of them on you car

      Yeah, but I don't know of anyone giving away dry ice for free.

      OTOH, if you go with the wet towel and blower routine, at best it would probably be like getting hit in the face with a wet wash cloth.

      Gee, the humidity in Jersey is bad enough - and usually worse than the heat.

      thats the first swamp cooler i saw for a car, i thought it was just when you took a fan and put dry ice in front of it. (did it once worked pretty well)

      that link was just for an explanation. i paid $25 for mine for my air cooled beetle, and there is a place near buy that sells dry ice for $.50 a lb.. lasts an entire day. less strain than a open fridge in the back seat

      Installing factory AC only cost me about $300.
