      Question for members

TPS....Is there an adjustment to these sensors like I've seen on other GM models where the mounting holes are slotted. My RPMs have been fluctuating at idle, but have no SEL showing yet. I plan on buying a TPS to see if that fixes the problem, but needed to know if I needed a volt meter to dial it in.

      Thanks in advance.

Fluctuating idle probably isn't a bad or even mis-adjusted TPS sensor. Its probably just a gummed up IAC valve. I'd take off the air cleaner rubber hose, and with the engine idling spray some carb cleaner into the throttle body. It'll get sucked through the IAC valve and clean it out.
