Hi, My Aveo is displaying this warning light. Not accelerating as it should, struggles to get up hills and can have foot flat on the floor and its still not going properly. Have noticed that when car is stationery, the revs are still going. Just had a new battery but still got the problem. Had the same problem 12 months ago and it just went away ! Weather here is just turning colder, don't know if thats anything to do with it.

That would be your check engine light. Take it to a local parts store and they will scan the engine codes. Get the codes from them and post them here.
Hi everyone, was this ever continued? We live in South Africa and to have the codes checked i so very expensive. We have sent our Aveo to Delta and they were still not able to get rid of the engine warning light. Now, since last night, there is a knocking type noise. Seems to lessen when we turn the steering wheel? And the acceleration power is even worse now, car will hardly pull off. Any advice?

There are several places on Ebay that sell these . The one I bought came with various software . I have an Android cell phone with blue tooth . I installed the Android version of Torque Pro .
I can read codes , erase codes & display some real time data .
Be sure to read the codes & write them down , before you erase codes .
