      I'm not defending anyone here but for the price and the way the Aveo has treated me I cant complain. Its not a road racer, nor a Ferarri. Its not the best handling car in the world, nor the worst. Its my commuter car and I'm quite fond of it. I'd still buy another one! He didnt have to cop that attitude.

      Wow, i almost posted myself but said its not worth it lol

      Id love just to come up to one of their meets and say who wants to go? Yeah these cars are made in Korea by Daewoo which IS cheap we all know it, too bad they dont know how much power the engines in these cars can make and where they come from (Opel/Vauxhall) How much power can their little 1.5 vtec make, even modded, compared to a tuned 1.6?

      Lotus tested the 1.6 on their bench at 160ish hp if i remember the numbers, with basically only retuning it.

      The 2.0 i put in with 8 psi of boost can make well over 200hp with stock internals. Stock vs stock, yes i would agree that the Fit is a very well balanced car. But with a few mods the Aveo most definitely can come out the winner.

      I dont see myself as beeing a ricer, ffs i modded an Aveo, but thats not the point, the point is ive taken a car NO ONE would even dare touch and made it into something truely unique.

      I dont give a damn if the guy besides me runs 10 seconds or if i get negative comments on my ride, i cant please everyone's tastes. But you sure as hell wont find an Aveo like mine laying around like you would if i had a honda.

      lol i agree 100%

      look on cardomain, theres like 366 aveos comapred to tens of thousands of hondas, so every aveo with an intake is special in my eyes :P

      you got one of the most unique aveos overall with that swap (and it runs!)

      honda boys are so ununique

      thats why im dumping over 10-15k in my car over the next 4 years

      Yeah, this winter im gonna try to get parts together for a turbo kit ready to install when the snow goes next spring.

      My crank seals have now been replaced (dealer says the original crank seals had problems, and they came out with a new type of seal) Also changed the timing belt while doing it.

      I came up with a better idea to fix my air intake other then an aluminium dryer hose lol, ill see if i can find what i need to make it work.

      yeah im going to start on my turbo in 2 years or so, i wanna do the following first

      1. Paintjob and cf hood
      2. Strutbar
      3. New springs
      4. Headers
      5. Replace timing belt
      6. CAI
      7. New sound system

      and a ton of more **** lol

      hopefully that guy from daftart makes some cool stuff soon
