It's similar to MySpace and facebook, but it's based solely around the function of "what are you doing?"

IMO it's kinda ghey, but at the same time a lot of people use it so I figured what the hell, it's free advertising.

I have around 80 people following me, with about 3 new people each day...

more like "hey I'm ..." than "what are you doing". I'm not a twitter whore, but it is good for things like announcing site updates or when I cross into the 100 consecutive pushups mark, so far I'm at 85.
