Right. You are NOT charging more for credit, you are giving a discount for cash, big difference. That is why our pumps were set at the credit price and we gave you a discount off of that, but we posted the cash price on the sign with the word CASH next to it. Believe me it is legal.

yep exactly....it says it on the sign but people do not read...even when you pull up the little screens above the octane buttons list the credit price...i think we make like .05 a gallon

update! apparently it is legal so long as the prices are posted on the marquis above the pumps according to the nys dept of taxation and finance.

yea here is NJ you have to have both prices listed for all the gases on top on the pumps and on the street sign, what ever fuel you list the cash price for you need to have the credit price, and most stations only have three spots on their sign so you can only fit reg cash and reg credit up there....but i love when people come in and say we dont have it listed and im just like "did you look at the sign"
