It wont set your car on fire...But the thought of a sooty bumper has crossed my mind already. This and a few other reasons are why i havent started to do it yet. Just not sure about it.

      Re: Flame Exhaust

here is the most fun way. I sit on my 2-step rev limiter and it builds boost off idle. This is the fun side effect.

      Re: Flame Exhaust

Yes it is ok for the car as long as you dont stay on the limiter for an extended time. It is just like hitting the stock rev limiter in your car except this one only cuts the spark and not the fuel (as seen from the flames). Yes it should be building boost at idle because that is the whole point of it. It decreases the lag a HUGE amount so you can launch with alot more power. The reason you dont hear the BOV is because of all the backfiring. I can assure you it is going off. All that backfire kinda sucks because I have been in races where I haven't heard the 3rd honk and it cost me a race.

      Re: Flame Exhaust

i thought u should have very little to no boost at idle cus the throttle flap is closed. then when u gas it, u start to build boost as rapidly as possible.
