Re: Anyone have one of these tents?

whats funny is that i got roped into this "i gotta have my travelling hotel room" because i have forgotten what "real" camping is. i'm at a point in my life where if i cant go somewhere and plug in a blender and make pina coladas then what the point? as teenager and into my 20's i used to camp out with a backpack, bedroll, and a tent. sometimes i miss those days. now that i'm in my 40's i still love camping, but my wife wont tent it. so all of you who are still in your youth, do as much as you can and live life to the fullest before you end up like me. "spoiled in my 40's"

hey!! nice mods on you car onephastmike! looking good!! i'm 44 and my wife is 43. we talk all the time about being 18 again. for us its like "hey!! wasnt that just yesterday? where did the time go?" so thats why i say, if you have the time to try to do the things you want to, then do it!! never say i'll get around to it, because before long, you'll be looking back, married with a mortgage on a house, wishing you still could.

Re: Anyone have one of these tents?

When I was pricing out one of those tents for my Jeep.

I remembering them being a bit pricey.

Cheaper to shop around locally for Sales and clearance this time or year.

Due to purchases and Hand-downs we have 4 tents. See what your relatives might have that they don't need or use. Might get something cheap or free, based on your relationship and their lifestyle.
