      Fit like fae Scotland!

Hey guys, my names Chris and I live in Aberdeen in Scotland. A few weeks ago I bought a brand new Aveo 3 door in Impression Blue (the only 2009 3 door on the forum as far as I know!) and I'm very happy with it! Sadly I've only got a tiny 1.2 engine to move me along but have started the modification process. Last week I fitted a set of 15 inch 7 spoke alloys with 195/45 Yokohamas and today I got my new 12 x 6 plates through from a company on ebay to replace my horrible euro plates. Looking at a set of H&Rs, exhausts, xenons and tints but dunno how they'll affect my uk warranty. Will post up pics in the photography section after I fit my plates.

Will post pics when I get decent enough weather to take 'em. Got my U.S. style plates on now and it's lookin good! It's gonna be snowing here over the weekend so may have a snowy photoshoot!

Heard a rumour that I could use a Vauxhall/Opel Astra engine (2.0l ecotec with turbo!). Dunno if it's possible though! Would be nice to have over 200bhp....

yeah i believe that is the same cobalt SS engine.. you need mounts and to do a complete swap to do it. but it is possible.

Wow.. those wheels look bigger than 15s though... and why would the xenons/H&R's/exhaust affect your warranty? All those are reversible mods, you could take them off, if anything, and replace with original (except for the exhaust, unless you put in a flange for the muffler).

LOL at rabbit and his great idea of converting to 3 door... wouldn't there be a post between your front and rear doors, rabbit, that would be in the way of the doors? great idea though if it worked...

Its been a while since I posted on here.... My sig pic is fake! It's a photoshop of how the car will look soon. Not that keen on the wheels in the pic now but the front end styling is going to happen as soon as the weather brightens up!

The warranty stuff in the UK is a bit of a joke but my local Chevy dealer didn't say anything about the mods the last time I was in!
