      How to remove the manual gear knob on my Aveo

      People already answered you in your other thread. It is not removable as far as we know.

      Noone here could helm me. So I took a risk to dissembled the whole unit and put the knob into boiling water so that the rubber knob becomes soft. Then I pulled it off quite easily.       Do you pop the white plastic piece off the bottom part of the shifter to take the whole knob out of the car? I've been wanting to do this to mine.
