Anyone from washington??
I live in the Auburn, Federal Way area.
I'm moving to either Yelm or Lacey. So I wont be too far. I have family in University Place, Ruston, Tacoma, Olympia and Federal Way... so I'll be in the 'hood.
i live in Ephrata WA, it sucks
8) Lake Tapps/ Bonney Lake/ Buckley area:lol:
I might be picking up a Blue Aveo Tomorrow.
Downgrade for me, but the Gas milage will be such a nice break.
XJCasper where you live at?
Out in Yelm.
Picked up a Medium Gray Model.
Approaching this car different than others from the past. (That's what I always tell myself)
I'm not doing any work to this car, until parts wear out. Still looking for a good excuse to add the Kasel Ground effects.

NWGMTuners.com is the website for our local GM tuner car club if your interested in meeting up with people. its mostly cobalts but its still a cool group.

I HEARD EVEN BIGFOOT DRIVES A LOWERED BLACK AVEO WITH BLINGING 20 INCH RIMS AND PUMPING SOUND SYSTEM!!
how did bigfoot get 20s on his aveo?
I imagine an Aveo with 20's on it would look a lot like an Aveo 4 wheel drive.
I'm in Seattle. So lets see that makes us 3! Lets start a club! We'll be called the Wahaveos
lol u mean wahveos?Quote:

It'd be fun to all gather on the South side of the zoo. It's a forest park with lots of free paved parking and great for pics.
Wow I'm getting old.
I remember when I used to love meeting groups of car owners for cruising or shows.
Met a group of BMW owners to head over to Leavenworth a couple summers ago and loved the drive. Loved walking around looking at the cars and the buildings, but couldn't get into the Group mentality.
With the Jeep club time standing around and chatting it up is time not spent testing out my XJ.
When it comes to my cars, I just love to drive.
I live in Bothell for now but will be moving Sep. of next year. Somewhere south king county I think.
If you guys want to get together, GTG's workparties are always a good idea.
GTG's workparties, huh? What exactly are those, man? And I know that post was on a while back, but just FYI, NWGMTuners.com is not working anymore. It gives an error message... Apparently NW cobalts are not doing it anymore as they used to. :? Well, I've seen me, XJ, and maybe a couple more people out there... I've seen a red one with Razzi kit and chrome rims, some older lady is driving it... says the body kit is too low, it's scratching the bumper stops at parking lots. :DQuote:

Active? none.
GTG=Get Together.
Work Party
In other larger groups, this is a way to get together and work on cars, B.S., drink beer, eat pizza, whatever..
I usually see them happen in BMW, Jeep, Focus, or WRX forums.

If I was a yellowshirt I would wanna be up top where the action is too. Hangar bay is all about precision parking of aircraft and topside is mostly about launch recovery. I was a white shirt up top - final checker/troubleshooter on prowlers... :) fun.Quote:

I am going to miss the prowlers when they are gone. there is no other experience like standing next to a prowler in tension or in your case under and having that teeth rattling, filling destroying, ear ringing, feeling from that experience.
Cheers
Yup... Then you know exactly what I mean... I know it's permanent ringing in the ears from that job, but you can say you did it. :D You can say you slid down the non-skid pushed by the exhaust of one of the most powerful jet blasts... :DQuote:

But back to the topic, I joined out of Lynnwood recruiting station and swore in at Seattle MAPS, went in to "see the world" and made it all the way to whidbey island. VAQ-129 and VAQ-140. :D.
....So are we all having an Aveo meet sometime?
Sounds great for this summer. I gotta alot of things going on at work so I figure the mid to late July would do and if others want to come they can plan for it as well.Quote:

Welcome, and...?
