Good to know. Lol
Seriously though, you could sand all that gloss off, mask it off, and paint it with flat black... but I'm not sure if I'd want to do that to brand new wheels... I'd enjoy them the way they are... it's easier to clear coat the rest of your stuff (i.e. tail lights, bow ties, etc.) to match the look of the wheels. it won't look bad either.
Don't feel dumb......I'm trying to decide what to do with mine also. A lot of wishes and not a lot of
$$$. The more I read on here the more I know. I'm so glad I found this site!!!!! 8)
If not a lot of $$$ and you don't want to wait until you have enough for a new set, craigslist is your best friend... :D
i see a lot of decent rims and tires for our cars for about 200-250 max, they look good and the tires usually have a ton of life still in them
I run 17x7 with 205/40-17, fits the best and looks the best, no rubbing, lots of grip, uses more gas, ride is a bit harsh but I love it. I would not go any smaller.
