i dont know how safe it would be on an aveo. but that one is only slightly larger than oem for the car it is pictured for.

i had a jeep using a set of these as a "leveling" kit. they are also very common on lifted trucks that have ifs.

I did some looking, and I can't find any Aveo specific spacers. I would be willing to risk my life, and go for the spacers, but I really would prefer spacers that I knew were the proper size, etc. Are there any out there? Hell, spacers I could put in myself. That would be great.

Re: Raise up the back end? Or lower the front?

After reading the forums more, I think what I'm gonna do is go with a set of Eibach springs. As I said before, I don't care so much about the most drop, so the H&R's at 1.5/1.4 or Eibachs 1.3/1.0, it makes sense for me to lower the front more, and the back less. Hopefully that'll solve the problem for the most part. And the 2 sets look like they're about the same price online, so as soon as I get some extra cash, Eibach it will be.

Has anyone run both? I'm just curious what the difference is. And I could care less about how *sporty* they are. It's an Aveo for god's sake.

Edit: Looking on froogle, all the Eibach sets are listed as 1.3/1.3 drop, but the Eibach site says 1.3/1.0. WTF?

that little amount of weight wouldnt make a huge difference a macpherson strut setup is always higher in the front to hold the weight of the engine if you want you could block the springs in the rear you can buy little rubber spacers that go between the coils on the spring there cheap and they work if that what you need

I'm going to try the spacers for now, see how it is. Do the cheap rubber spacers fall out, or do they stay put pretty well? Or is there something I should do when I put them in to keep them in?

what if u hit a nasty bump and the spring coils extend and then the spacers fall out from inbetween the coils? or shift?

thats just one what if that crosses my mind, in my unexpert opinion, i suggest that if it really bothers u then by stiffer springs, they will be able to hold the weight better.

your talking about those rubber wedges that you stick in between coils? they tend to break spring before they fall out.
