      Opinions?

I'm thinking about buying some rims off of a guy I work with. They're 18s and I test fitted the rims to my car today just to see if they'd fit on the hub alright or not. I just havent been able to lower it down to check clearence yet. I have to buy some tires to go onto them so I told him I wasn't paying the $350 he wanted, cus I'm poor as hell at the moment. I'm also thinking of powder coating them black, and possibly leaving the lip the gun metal color. What do you guys think, yay or nay?

18 is pretty big size for our cars, but style wise it's a yay. I like your color idea too.

I do not think that these rims will fit when you have tires on them. I have 16 inch rims with 206/45 tires and they rib a bit over bumps.

rims look good, bot for $350 though, tires for 18''s are expensive though

craigslist is your place to buy, can get a set of rims and tires like these for a lot less

      Re: Opinions?

I only need to get two tires now. I put 4 new tires on a Beamer with 18s at work today, and two of the tires were barely used, so I grabbed them up to put on the rims. So now I either have to sit around until I come across another set or just put out to $250 for a couple of tires.

      Re: Opinions?

The two that I snagged should fit. they were the smaller of the two sizes he had on it, but I might try them on the rims if I can get the guy to bring them in today. And I'm running stock hight, so clearance shouldn't be too much of an issue. if it is, I can make some room in autobody lab

      Re: Opinions?

18's are nice for just cruising, but if you plan to through your car around on the road your going to find her hard to handle with big wheels like that.
      They do look nice.
