Need Some Pics of Offset Wheels.

Hey guys, spring is here and the snow is starting to melt here in Fairbanks, Alaska. So, it's time for some new rims and tires. I'm wanting to go back to a 15" rim so I can lower my car. Problem is I need to see some pics of anyone's aveo here that has +25 or +32 offset wheels. I've been looking at a set of 15x7's +25et and a set of 15x7.5 +32et. Wanting to go for a little bit different stance than what comes with most aftermarket rims that are +40's. Then I have another dilemma... 195/50R15 tires or 205/50R15's. Oppinions? Suggestions? Pics? A 15x7 w/ +25et with 205/50's will stick out 1" further than stock and the speedo is .9mph slow at 60mph. With 195/50's they stick out .8" more than stock and the speedo is .1mph fast at 60mph. A 15x7.5 w/ +32et w/ 205/50R15's will stick out .7" more than stock and the speedo will be .9mph slow at 60mph. The 195/50's stick out .5" more than stock and the speedo will be .1mph fast at 60 mph. Figured I'd let you guys know all the specs so you don't think I'm completely ignorant. Lol. So please, pics. HELP!

Thank you Classic. That's a big help. Did you have to run spacers for clearance, or just for looks? Any advice on what size tires I should run if I use a 15x7.5 rim? The 195's look good, but is rather have a wider tire if possible, but I don't want them to be all ballooned out once they're mounted. Thanks.

I had the spacers on there from when i was using coilovers. I used them to close the wheel gap for looks but when i put my new wheels on i love the stance and i needed the 3mm to clear my caliper. I dont think your going to find 15x7.5 its an odd size mine is from an oldschool BMW. The 195s came with the wheels i will be switching to a 185 to not have rubbing issues. You could run a wider tire but i would not advise it. My wheels stick out an 1.5 inchs in the front and 2 in the rear but with 195 my tread is still under my fenders so im legal. With a wider tire with 25et you will need flares or a really good fender pull. It all depends on the style you want i love my setup i do need new tires to finish but it will have to wait till i get back to the states.

      Welcome back to the forum

Well, the 15x7.5's I'm looking at are +32et. Without spacers do yours stick outside your fenders any? Because I don't want that, I need to be able to drop about 2". These are the wheels I'm looking at:

If they are 35s they will sith flush un the front and it in about an inch in the rear you might haveto roll the front fenders and maybe the rear if you space the rear.

Ok, yeah a 195 tire should stretch pretty good on a 7.5" wide rim...might be able to get away w/out modifying the fenders. 195/50R15's are exactly the same height as the factory 14's that come on my car. It looks like you may be poking what?... 3/4" outside the fender if that? With your spacers in the front that basically puts you at a 22et, which means with mine being 10mm higher offset should only poke about 1/4" outside the front fenders. That should be fine, I just need to drop, I'm not trying to tuck my wheels or anything.

And yeah, I know all about having to run spacers to fit BMW, Audi and vw wheels. I had to use 5mm spacers in the front to fit a set of VW snowflakes a couple summers ago.
