      Civic Rims? For winter.

I'm looking to buy a set of used winter tires for the next winter season. I have read that Civic rims should in theory fit but I wanted to confirm this. I was reading another thread that the wheels needed to be bored out in order to fit properly. So my questions are:

      1) Will Civic steelies fit onto an Aveo?

      2) I know the Aveo has P185/60R14, will 195s fit my current steels?

      3) Are there any other cars that would possibly be interchangeable?

Honda has a 56.1mm hub bore, the aveo has a 56.6 hub bore.

So unless you want to sand .25 mm out of the center of the rim. It won't fit.

Saturn, and Vw(1975-1999) uses a 57.1 mm hub bore. and vw uses a 185/60r14 tire. Try looking for those for a more direct fit, Saturn uses a taller tire which will fit as well. Unless your really lowered the slightly taller tire should fit ok.

Thanks! I'll start having a look around for tires.

Second question, will 185 or 195 65R14s fit onto an Aveo?
