I read on Vortex that some of the Passat guys were able to special order kits at one point. They were mixing and matching because their car wasn't listed, but parts from other models could be used, kind of like what we are doing.

just adding the rear coilovers as a helper will add weight capacity. (i mentioned this to another ember who wanted to install f150 springs). but it would stiffen the suspension not raise it up (more spring would set you back to original ride height)

i discussed that with them. they said you could order them as replacement parts. but didn't give me "specific" numbers.. but thought it would be like $150 a corner. which i thought was outrageous. (cheaper to buy the two sets and have "extras" at the time) but i could approach them again.. and see. I wonder what the passat guys were doing, unless it was the b5, they pretty much use the mk3 suspension..

i will look into when i get a chance, but i wouldnt wait for me.. :P

I can't remember but I think it was the b5 guys, there is a kit for them now.

my coil overs have a 300# spring, add that as a helper.. position to ride with the stock spring in place i think you'll be ok.

Tidus do you do sound competitions? I was the one who tried to get the F150s to work.... and its not happening lol. But I had about 158 lbs in a single locomotive battery and have around 400 or so bounds with my box, sub, amps, blocks..etc

      Just curious.
