      205/50/16 wheels and tires. Will they fit a 09 Aveo

      Wondering if there is any rubbing issues

      They should fit with no issue, I'm on cut springs and I'm running 205/40/17's.

      50 series on a 16 is pretty big, at stock height you should be fine. its a little bigger than 24" diameter, just under 23" of the stock size.

      and just for redrocket.. a 205/40r17 is 23.45"

      205/50/16 is 23.5

      205 / .5 x 2 = 205 (height of both side walls)

      205 / 25.4 = 8.07086614 "

      8.07 + 16 (rim diameter) = 24.07"

      although height and width do vary greatly by manufacturer, a specific tire might be 23.5"

      I have 205/55/16's on my rear and with passengers in the back on bumpy roads they rub pretty bad but with no weight back there there fine.

      p.s There Hankooks about 4 yrs old now. super wide

      Yes they should be fine but dont know about the 50r. Just installed 205/40r17, more pics to come.
