weird cd error please help

ok i have a 04 hatch and i am getting this weird error on the head unit. it happens once and a while when i start the car i think. there is no cd in the unit but the cd light is on in the display and it will turn off the radio and try to load a cd and then say error 1 and the radio will come back on. it happens randomly. it just started 3 days ago. anyone else have this error?

Pull the fuse. Let it sit for a minute or two and plug back in. This will reset the radio. If that doesn't work it's toast, get a new one.
