      Returning it back to stock.

Okay so comming up sometime soon I will be trading my Aveo, unless I can sell it for more private party. It is a 2005 LT model, blue in color. I have painted quite a bit of the interior.
Should I purchase replacement pieces and install them to put it back to stock before I do any "selling"?
Also, Is GM parts direct an okay site to order off of? I noticed it saying something along the lines of Pieces may not be exactly what you ordered. But for everything I need to replace its a mear 45dollars if I order off of the site.

Do you guys have any tips for getting the most out of your trade in? Other than a plain old "clean it"?

What should I be expecting to get from it?
The paint is nearly perfect, and it has about 36,000 miles on it.

I know there is kelly blue book and all of those things... but I want to know what I really could get in the real world.

lol, i saw one of those in person before and they are real little, u think the aveo is little, u will barely be able to breathe in that car lol.
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

Have you sat in one? I personally thought it felt either the same or even a little more spacious. Dont bash on something you have not experienced. I never, ever use my back seat... nor do I even notice it. Do you notice your seats when they are folded up in your aveo? Thats what is comparable to. An average sized car with no back end.
Not to mention it is a lot more sturdy than the Aveo, and probably alot safer.
      -----------------------------------

However, this topic is not about my upcomming car. It is about how I can get more money for trade in... or if I should order replacement parts. So if anyone has an answer to my question, it we be appreciated.

when i went to get my car appraised by a dealer and with all the aftermarket "stuff" i have on my car, CF hood, rims, exhaust and such, they were going to give me 6 grand. so IMO i dont think u have too much to worry about, as long as it looks good and is not all scuffed up. i mean what are u gonna do with ur painted parts afterwards?

Smart Cars are soo sweet. It was my first choice of vehicle when I was looking for a car to get me to and from college. But this was when they first came to canada and where very expensive.

The base model (pure) is now at about 11,590 USD I believe. However if you want one and you did not reserve last may when the program first opened... look to wait another year or so.
