      radio install

      can anyone point me in the right direction for installing an aftermarket head unit? I couldnt find anything in the how to section

      do you have a 1st gen or 2nd gen aveo?

      what you need is the install kit consisting of the harness and the pieces you need to install the radio, you can buy both cheaply over ebay

      it is an easy install really, it works the same for every car really, just match the same color wires up and your set, pretty easy, but look at another guide if you become confused

      its the first generation. Ive installed decks before, i was just wondering if i need to buy a dash kit or whether i can just use the one thats in there. It looks like the stock radio is single din

      i thinkim 95% sure you need a dash kit, they are only like $15 or so over ebay
