pontiac g3 gauge . i want it, help me

hi there, i went to ebay, and i went to all my local junk yard, its very difficult to find a pontiac g3.
but yesterday i went there i found a 2007 pontiac g3 automatic transmision's instrument cluster.
he will sell for reasonable price.....

and my car is a 2009 aveo5, standard trans. will it work?? and will it mess my ECU ? (i heard a story about messed ecu after plug it in certain models of gauge in 2009.

will it work? i dont mind that "PRND2L thing"

and also the Odometer, will it automatically go to my actual milage of my 09? ,,, or go whatever number that stored in THE GAUGE.

The miles store in the gauge and if you change them, the miles will change.

No one ever swapped them, I remember there was a thread or two a couple of years ago about these gauge clusters and I think they cannot be swapped, might want to look in the interior section, I believe it was in there somewhere.

this is a tough one to answer, besides programming, you have two different engines, two different transmissions, two different wiring harness, and unless the g3 is a sedan, two different dashes..

Hey there! I actually recently did this swap, like 2 Weeks recent. Its plug and play with no issues on my part, than again it was auto to auto and both with cruise control options. However, your mileage will not sync, it will have the mileage from the g3 it came from. I got mine for 70 bucks at a salvage yard. Good luck!

I tried this on my 2009 aveo5 and now I can't start up my car, no starter, no fuel pump etc....any help will do...I'm thinking about taking my car to dealer to reprogram ecu and my keys...btw does the 200 I aveo5 ls have transponder keys?
