      How do i install courtesy lights?

      ok all i want to install courtesy lights on the bottem of the doors, so when they open they turn on and when it closes they turn off. i have the L.E.D.S just need to know which wires i should strip/bypass to get this to happen

      I would tap into either the door chime or the dome light... don't know specific wire colors though... will try to find that real quick...

      ok the door chime? is that the switch on the inside of the door thats connected to the dome light? if so the colours are 2 white wires and only show a current when the door is closed nothing when its open.

      i dont really want to run cables all the way up to the dome if i can find a source on the floor that would be a whole lot better

      true... when I go to pick my girlfriend up from best buy here in an hour I have to talk to one of the installers about something... I'll ask him to print me off a wiring diagram and color layout from the Aveo...

      is there one of these out there?
