      head unit replacement

      im hearing things from different people that when i remove my headunit i will lose my airbags and alarm and a few other things . . wats up with that ?? i know alot of you have systems in their cars talk to me ???

      not true, you still have your airbags. otherwise you would get CEL

      You don't lose anything. The aveo deck does not control anything other than itself. It's not like a chevy with bose where you lose your speakers, and door chime

      ok cuz i was told that it was all chevys by my local circuit city and i thot that was bull **** ! so im good ??? well i guess i will ask for my friend who has a cobalt will that mess his up ?? hes got an 05 ls

      i had an 05 cobalt ls and if you switch out the radio you will loose the cruise control and the door chime, i hate that in those cars.....why must they do that???

      yea i know u will lose it from i heard so the only to do is pay 100 dollars for this special wiring tonto lose it i guess some kinda of " chevy harness"

      The Aveo is not made by GM. So you don't need the $100 part they are claiming. The people are circuit city are idiots.

      You need a dash kit, wiring harness, and radio. Its relatively easy to install. You won't loose anything.

      Aveo is made by a company called Daewoo and then bought by gm. Don't fret. This car is easy to work on as far as the radio is concerned.
