I believe it's one of the taller units that would take up the whole space, instead of using that little "cubby" thing.

My 06 has a stock double DIN CD/MP3 player

just curious i've got my cd above and my dvd below i will post pics and how to if anyone is interested okc, ok just look for the aveo streamin video out the back thinkin bout adding a 26 custom lcd tv between subs and back seat let me know what yall think

A single 'din' is the standard aftermarket radio size. 2 of those are considered double din. Aveos have the space to accomodate a double din radio/nav/dvd, etc. if you remove the pocket below the radio. Most cars or trucks have 1 din or 1 1/2 din....

yes it almost has the space for double din minor modifaction is required along with drilling some new mounting holes and shaving the facial ring, its seems that most of the new GM line is catching up with the rest of the market on usefulness of the Double Din space, especially for audio heads like me.
