CB anyone?

Has anyone put a CB in their aveo? Or thought of it? I'm putting one in pretty soon, it will definately come in handy for me. Just wondering if I'll be one of the first...

I haven't put mine in yet cuz' I'm looking for a low-profile antenna, but I work for a trucking company and it would be handy for me.

Yeah I was looking to do the same but I want the range too... I might just put the Wilson 1000 on... not sure. That's 62in. of steel whip ... talk about antenna

does the antenna have to be outside of the car and pointing straight up?

i would "think" you could put a antenna in the rebar, or under the rebar, and it would be hidden by the bumper cover. or even put it under (or technically above) the headlinder, in the roof?

but i dont know a whole lot about CB antennas..

I had a scanner in my car for a while, no CB tho. It would get to much chatter here in the city.

You could do that but it would decrease the range a lot...

Idk, I had one in my Jetta w/ a low-pro 2ft. antenna that worked great. I just want an antenna thats a little more asthetically pleasing for the aveo.

I almost got a CB for my car. only becuase i was at a second hand store and they had the equipment there for only $10. But since I am extremely cheap I decided against it. I regret that.
