      basslink?

i'm thinking of getting an Infinity Basslink for my hatch... does anyone have one in their aveo? and are they hard to install? do they have good sound quality?

oh and i want to use it with my factory MP3 unit.

      thanks.

well i have the infinity baselink II in my sedan for now, i had it mounted flat but moved it to be upright for more space. It sounds pretty dang good for the size of the unit, has enough power to rattle ur car if you dont have dynamat. Although there is no comparison to my little bro's 2 12" Fosgates. Also i found that a cheaper head unit does not cooperate well with the amp/sub without proper sub levels on the hu itself but after i got my Alpine IVA-W205 HU it sounds ALOT better. As for the amp card for blII i used it for awhile but the speakers sounded better through the alpine unit itself so i pulled it out. Overall i would highly reccomend the baselink to anyone that needs the extra space but wants to have good sound.

for me it was super easy, i just ran the + cable to battery with inline fuse, ran the remote (small blue wire) and preamp cables L&R to the rear inputs on the amp, then grounded ground wire in th trunk on a decent bolt. But later on i had installed a battery isolater under the hood and mounted a yellowtop batt in the trunk and wired all stereo and interior lighting equipment to the secondary battery so i can play it till it dies with the car off and still be able to start it and drive away. (and i can also jump start myself )

I have the bazooka tube and its perfect bass for rock or anything that doesnt use tons of loud heavy bass.

your a hip hop fan too ey, just a forwarning...if you like bass at all like i do then itll go something like it did for me...

Infinity Basslink 10" Powered Sub (200 Watts) (10in. Surface Area)
      2 12" Jensens in Bandpass (400 RMS/800 PEAK) (24in. Surface Area)
      2 12" Eclipse Subs in Sealed (500 RMS/1000 PEAK) (24in. Surface Area)
      1 15" S15L5 Kicker in Sealed (750 RMS/1500 PEAK) (18in. Surface Area & Louder ^)
      2 15" S15L5'S In Sealed (1500 RMS/3000 PEAK) (36in. Surface Area)

thats just me though....im into the "unholy" amount of bass or at least thats what it ended up being like haha.
