Thought I could share some plans and pics of my upcoming audio-build for the season 2011.
Started last summer while I was turbo-converting the car, so I did not have as much time to use on the audio-part...
Did a full battery upgrade, moving the batteries in the trunk, upgrading the powercables and groundcables.
Then I decided to buy a sh*t load of Dynamat to make the doors, roof, floor etc more "soundquality-friendly", isolating the bass inside and all other noise outside. I even took the effort to use some hoodliner under the hood (dahhh) but that is just for show though.
The original plan was to do a insane, 2-seat solution with amp-rack instead of rear seats an two 15 inch woofers in the trunk (and that's what the plans when the photos were taken) but later on I realised I need at least 4 seats. Then I bought two more bucketseats so I would have a more complete look than using the stock rearseats
I also modded the doors to fit two 6,5 inch midwoofers in each door. The dash is faaaaar from finished, but two 5,25 inch midrange speakers and two tweeters are so far the plan.
