Tail lights...

Anyone tried "joey moding" the tail lights on the 2010 Sedan? Tired of the chrome.

I'm just not a huge fan of the tint. It looks ok I guess. Just not for me. I'm going to just take it apart and see what's up. Guess and check. I will post some pics once I do. Wish me luck.

they dont go together the same way. There are many ways to tint them if you know what you are doing. Not with that dull looking night shades stuff. I have tinted lightly shaded, really dark, reds, color matched to the vehicle, etc. Just need to know what you are doing...

oh btw, you could buy a set of tails from another country, off a foreign ebay or something. There are countries that have red taillights on the aveo factory.

Thanks for the tip on the foreign Ebay. I didn't think of that one. From what I was looking at earlier it didn't look as if there was even any adhesive holding the cover on. If that's the case it should be pretty easy just to pop them off. Currently the chrome outline on those lights is the only visible chrome I have left. I think the "chrome" takes away from the decent design of both front and rear lights.
