So i got a red aveo with a razzi body kit.
and i was thinking of getting sylvia 9003 for the lights.
which im going to do.
but also thought about blacking out my lights.
i dont know tho since my car is red.
i do however want to get a carbon fiber hood as well.
What are your opinions on how the blackout lights would look on my red aveo??

I think they would look nice since you are doing other dark mods as well. go with red and black

My friend has a redline..this is what blacked out tails looks like on a red car next to mine. Sorry the pic is dark, but they do look sweet.

it also reminded me that i am also gonna get 17" black rims some time soon too.
is there a how to anywhere on here on how to blackout?
i want to do it soon i know its inexpensive.

I have blacked out tails and you just remove both headlights/taillights...clean the surface with rubbing alcohol..tape off what you don't want tinted...then spray in even coats..i did 3..thats why they are so dark. Let them dry...you can wet sand them then clear coat as well..then reinstall.

what kind of paint is it just a regular car spray paint?

I used Nightshade. It's transparent spray tint.

how bout the whole headlight being blacked out...im not sure about that.

I'm not gonna do the headlight blackout...i might buy some covers that snap on and off. I just hope I pass inspection..if not im gonna have to get some stock tails/bumper lights
